The Illinois Steelheaders are a group of diverse fisherman and women that are dedicated to the conservation and salmonid fishery in the Great Lakes.

Their membership ranges from expert flytyers, outdoor writers, rod builders, tackle dealers, beginning anglers and the "obsessed fisherman".

Illinois Steelheaders are not strictly stream or fly fisherman, but rather a well rounded club of individuals truly interested in all aspects of the fishery.

Club meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:pm-Join Us!

 Dues:

           $25. Individual

           $30. Family

                  

Activities:

We have many topics covered at our meetings, including; flytying night, bobber/float fishing tributaries, traditional flyfishing, DNR enforcement issues, spawn curing, drift fishing , small boat fishing, to name a few..
