"The Long Point Bay Anglers’ Association was founded in June 1988 with a mandate to promote and protect the sport fishery of Long Point Bay and to represent the interests of our fellow Long Point Bay anglers. Our membership comes from across southern Ontario and neighbouring American states.

Since 1996, we have operated a live release pontoon boat at pro and amateur bass fishing tournaments and derbies held on the bay each summer. Our objective is to increase survival rates of bass released after these events and to promote the concept of live release amoung all anglers.
