SPIRIT LAKE, IOWA - Mitchell Full Runners are designed for fishing live bait, with the most natural of presentations. The reel then delivers the toughness and durability demanded in saltwater. And now Mitchell has expanded the line with two new model offerings.

The Full Runner family now includes the original 7500 and the new Full Runner Sport 4000 and 6500 models. All three are built with corrosion resistant hardware for dependable operation in saltwater conditions but anglers of other big freshwater fish will appreciate these full-feature reels.

These spinning reels are built for handling the hardiest saltwater fish. The patented unique rotor design with an external bail trip is extra tough. The cartridge spool system allows for quick and easy spool replacement. Instant anti-reverse and front drag adjustment for the multi-disc felt and stainless drag provides power for hooksets and confidence for landing fish.

To engage Full Runner, flip the switch on the body of the reel. The tension on the spool adjusts by a knob on the bottom of the reel body. A light spool tension allows the bait fish to take line. Feel a bite, set the hook and engage the reel by simply cranking the handle.

Mitchell® Epic® Spinning Reels

Epic series expands with New Sizes and Trigger reels

SPIRIT LAKE, IOWA - The full-featured Epic reel was ntroduced last year by Mitchell and the value priced spinning reel became responsible for great and memorable experiences by anglers from coast to coast. The Epic family is now expanded with four new models and a new lower price tag.

Joining the original Epic 20 are the new Epic 10 and Epic 40 to expand the selection of reel sizes. The new Epic 10T and Epic 20T are trigger reels with self-centering bails.

Epic spinning reels, with graphite bodies, perform like a much more expensive spinning reel with features anglers can depend on. The skirted aluminum spool prevents line tangles on the shaft, the automatic bail spring provides immediate line pick-up and the 4.8: 1 gear ratio is ideal for a wide range of lure retrieval speeds.
