Smith & Wesson Classic Model 24 Sweet-shooting .44 S&W Special a favorite of target shooters When the .44 S&W Special came to replace the .44 Russian, it created a need for a handgun that could make the most of the longer Special case. While ballistics of the .44 S&W Special were slightly improved over the .44 Russian, it was the release of handguns like the Smith & Wesson Model 24, a big-bore handgun that was accurate and pleasant to shoot, that rocketed the Special to popularity for both shooters and handgun hunters.
Though just a little more than 5,000 of these handguns were produced from 1950 through 1967, collectors and shooters alike now have another chance to own their own, brand new Model 24 as part of the Smith & Wesson Classics line.
Constructed of carbon steel and built on a large N-frame, this six shot .44 S&W Special is available in a pair of classic, attractive finishes: High Bright Blue and Bright Nickel. With a smooth single action and a crisp double action trigger pull, the Model 24 Classic features a 6½" barrel with an overall length of 12". This classic handgun comes with checkered square-butt walnut grips, pinned partridge front sight and micro-adjustable rear sight.

Smith & Wesson Performance Center Model 67 Carry Comp The K-frame is back – enhanced by the Performance Center Traditionalists rejoice! The Smith & Wesson Performance Center is introducing their version of the venerable Model 67 in a Carry Comp package.
Chambered for six rounds of the hotter .38 Smith & Wesson Special + P, the Model 67 Carry Comp comes with a recoil reducing 3", full lug, PowerPort barrel. Sitting on top of the barrel is a dovetail ramp with a drift adjustable front night sight and micrometer adjustable black rear sight. The frame, cylinder and barrel are made of durable stainless steel in a glare-reducing black matte finish.

Always responsive to consumer demand, Smith & Wesson is again producing the N-frame Model 27. This time however, the revolver will be made of stainless steel, thus the model number change to 627.
