Knoxville, TN – Kissing Crane has represented handcrafted quality and tradition since 1834. Each knife is hand finished with expert craftsmanship. Quality details include: high quality 440 stainless steel blades, polished nickel silver bolsters, shield and pins, as well as solid brass liners. Every genuine deer stag handle scale is individually selected and matched for fit and appearance. Each pattern is also available with Autumn Brown Picked Bone handle scales. New handle materials are currently in development.

The brother and sister team of Jacob and Jessica Hall are not new to the cutlery industry.  Starting at very early ages, they developed a passion for the business and a strong work ethic.  They literally “honed” their skills as youngsters, while working and learning the cutlery business on the inside from their father, David Hall—a respected veteran of the cutlery industry.  Jessica’s interests lead her to focus on the administrative/marketing side and she earned a BS in business management, with an emphasis in marketing—graduating cum laude from Carson-Newman College, Jefferson City, Tennessee.  Jacob’s interests in design, product development and manufacturing lead him on a more direct path to fulfill his ambitions.  Working as an intern, he entered the real world of cutlery, learning from masters in “The City of Blades”—Solingen, Germany, long renowned for the manufacturing of fine cutlery. With Jacob as president, Jessica as vice president, and David Hall joining them as a consultant, they created Hallmark Cutlery, headquartered in Knoxville, Tennessee.  Hallmark Cutlery represents the Hall family’s thirty years of domestic and international experience in cutlery design, manufacturing, sourcing, distribution, licensing and marketing.  They currently service the hunting, fishing, outdoor, tactical/LE and lifestyle markets.
