Like A Star Wars Light Saber In A Fishing RodFishing rods have had reflective tips and luminescent tips but even these features were hard to see in the dark of night. The new Berkley GlowStik rods radiate their own light requiring no need for other light sources to enhance their visibility. Photo luminescent GlowStiks are great for pier fishing, catfishing or any night fishing activity.
The two-piece GlowStik rod operates off of three AAA batteries that are stored in the rod handle. Two L.E.D. light sources, one in the blank above the handle as the other in the tip of the butt section, constantly recharge the glow pigments built in to the resin of the rod blank. The result is 36 straight hours of rod illumination.
The strong and durable E-Glass fiberglass rod blank is nearly indestructible. The rod features a composite cork handle and aluminum oxide guides. Four spinning and four casting models are available in 7, 8, 9 and 10-ft lengths. Rod actions are medium and medium heavy.

Lightweight Wiffle Spool Improves Casting Distance SPIRIT LAKE, IOWA -The Abu Garcia Ambassadeur C4 baitcast reel is a true workhorse for fishing. And now the trusted round reel has been enhanced with a wiffle spool. The wiffle spool, just like the plastic baseball, is full of holes and makes the C4 lighter and cast with more distance. One model C4 is available, the 5600WS.

Abu Garcia Ambassadeur 4007 Low Profile Baitcaster Wiffle Spool for Greater CastabilityAbu Garcia low profile baitcast reels are engineered and built with quality and long reel life in mind. Anglers now have more Abu Garcia low profile options with the new 4007LP baitcaster.
The 4007LP is built on a low profile aluminum frame that fits comfortably in any size hand. Seven stainless steel bearings give the reel a super smooth feel while slowly working a jig in tight cover or burning a buzz bait over a grass bed using the 6.2:1 high speed gear ratio. The new wiffle design spool makes the reel lighter weight and increases casting distance.

First Spincast Reel Designed For SuperlinesAbumatic spincast reels from Abu Garcia are the proven workhorses in spincast reels. The new Abumatic 1276 is built to handle today’s braid and non-braid superlines.
Superlines are thinner and stronger than monofilaments. Spincast reels before the Abumatic 1276 were not designed with pickup pins, rotors or spools capable of properly managing the line. The Abumatic 1276 dual pickup pins collect the superline every time, even from the first crank of the handle. The narrow non-oscillating spool allows for better line distribution eliminating line cutting into itself on the spool. The rotor is titanium nitride coated for extra long life.
