Northeastern Wisconsin Great Lakes Sport Fishermen (NEWGLSF) is an active club.
Each year NEWGLSF works with the Wisconsin DNR to raise trout or salmon in the clubs fish rearing pond at Lincoln Park in Manitowoc. Since the start of this rearing pond many years ago, over 6 million fish have been raised and released into Lake Michigan and area tributary streams.
Annually NEWGLSF hosts a Salmon Derby at the Manitowoc Marina including a Super Tournament and a kid’s fish derby. This is a family event with live entertainment, food and beverages over the three day Salmon Derby.
NEWGLSF also sponsors several additional kids’ derbies annually and offers camp scholarships for children and grandchildren of club members.

The meetings are at "City Limits" just south of Manitowoc on County Road CR. Meetings are the 3rd Thursday of each month except for March, June, July, and August at 7pm.
